Charles Barkley's Autographed Broken Golf Club

(Bidding has ended with the final bid at $1,674)

Basketball Hall of Famer and NBA television analyst Charles Barkley broke his driver on the first tee at historic Shoal Creek in the Regions Tradition Pro-Am on Wednesday, May 4th in Birmingham, Alabama. Surprisingly, the club-head traveled further than his ball. Fuzzy Zoeller, the Champions Tour professional playing with Barkley and winner of the 1979 Masters and 1984 US Open, suggested he autograph the club-head and auction it for charity. The "live" footage of Barkley's opening tee shot became a viral video sensation overnight on YouTube, Golf Channel and other websites and was No. 1 on ESPN's "Not Top 10" on Sportscenter.
